New Patients

Overview

Your first visit is your opportunity to get to know our practice, see our facility, and meet our office team. During your initial appointment, we’ll discuss your dental concerns, collect the relevant health history and background information, and perform a clinical exam to establish a baseline for care. We offer 2 options for your first visit. When you call to schedule your appointment, we will recommend the best option based on your current dental needs.

• Hygiene Visit: Generally our New Patients wish to have a dental cleaning (Prophylaxis) as well as an exam and radiographs. This is for those who feel they don’t have a dental emergency.
• Doctor Visit: When the unexpected happens or you feel that your specific issue cannot, wait it is best to schedule with the doctor first. Many issues can be addressed at this initial appointment or plans can be made to treat the problem as soon as possible.

Or, If you feel like your oral condition isn’t that simple- some wish to have more time to discuss the options or just want a “meet and greet” first. We are happy to accommodate you in any way you feel most comfortable.

Once we gather the relevant background information, examine your smile and obtain any diagnostic images, we’ll discuss if treatment is required and explain your best options in care.
